Your Next Challenge
Reporting to the Inventory Lead you will be part of the Supply Chain Department. The successful candidate will support operations, meet customer requirements and assess stocking strategies for all materials and manage them through their life cycles, including reviewing slow moving or obsolete stock for further action. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Work with Business Analysts as well as ERP specialists to develop and test ERP process upgrades and integration of audit controls;
- Develop, Improve and maintain the Inventory Management system;
- Collect, document, monitor and review inventory data for accuracy and timeliness with the ERP system;
- Capture operating constraints and business requirements to analyze, develop and implement inventory planning solutions;
- Ensure target service levels are optimized throughout the Supply Chain network by participating in planning meetings and discussions around work management which interacts with other departments and customers;
- Drive the utilization of statistical tools and root cause analysis to develop and implement recommendations that drive continuous improvement in inventory and customer service performance metrics;
- Review daily, weekly and monthly KPI’s performance against the supply chain plan and report non conformances related to targets;
- Create and manage functional training and development programs to ensure category and inventory management process continuity;
- Provide subject matter expertise and provide analytical support and prioritization for assigned tasks;
- Participate in managing a disciplined catalogue management system;
- Participate in collection, storage, processing, formatting and presentation of item master information within the Companies ERP system;
- Will follow Master Data Management standards and set up parts in a clear and precise descriptive manner with appropriate classifications, part numbers, specifications and other data elements that enables the Company to effectively manage inventory and conduct sourcing exercises.
What You Need To Succeed
- Diploma or Certificate in Inventory, Document control, Data analysis or Supply Chain Diploma;
- 3+ years’ of progressive work experience in procurement, warehouse operations and logistics management, preferably in a mining environment;
- Demonstrate commitment to safety in the workplace;
- Experience with JDE would be considered a strong asset;
- Ability to function and communicate effective in a fast-paced environment is essential;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially, Outlook, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint as well as Power Bi;
- Strong ability to effectively communicate in English (Oral and written)
- Bilingual (French) is an asset.
Your Work Schedule
- Schedule: 40 hours per week, from Monday to Friday. Occasional visits to site may also be required.
- Workplace: A combination of remote work and on-site work at one of our offices in Timmins, Kirkland Lake or Sudbury.
