Argentina and the United States signed an agreement on critical minerals on Wednesday to strengthen and secure supply chains, the Argentine foreign ministry said.

The ministry said in a statement that the initiative is expected to drive significant economic growth for Argentina. The country’s mining exports reached $6.04 billion in 2025, the ministry said.
