China to strengthen development of rare earth industry over 2026-2030

China said on Thursday that it would strengthen the competitiveness of its dominant rare earths industry in the next five years, according to its 15th Five-Year Plan.
The world’s largest producer of various critical minerals crucial to energy transition also said it would enhance and improve its export control systems.
