Glencore’s Lomas Bayas copper mine in Chile is working to control a fire that broke out at a waste yard at midday on Tuesday, sending up a tall column of smoke, the company said in a statement.

No injuries were reported, and the fire is still contained in the area where it began, the company said. The mine produced 74,000 metric tons of copper last year.
