Vale to invest $3.5 billion in Carajas copper projects by 2030

Brazilian miner Vale expects to invest $3.5 billion in copper projects in the Carajas region between 2026 and 2030, it said on Monday.

The forecast includes investments of $300 million in 2026, $400 million in 2027, $800 million in 2028, $900 million in 2029 and $1.1 billion in 2030, the company said in a securities filing.
