The Star, Star West and Orion properties are located in Saskatchewan, Canada some 65 km east of Prince Albert.

The Star kimberlite is 100% owned by Shore Gold Inc, which also owns 60% of the adjacent Star West and Orion kimberlites (the balance is being held by Newmont Mining Corp.).

A recently completed positive Prefeasibility Study (PFS) reported a probable mineral reserve of 279 million diluted tonnes at a weighted average grade of 12.5 carats per hundred tonnes containing 35 million carats at a weighted average price of $226 per carat (US$192) over the Life of Mine (LOM)….more at Mine Developments on SupplyMine
