New dating tip: wear this $250,000 gold shirt
While gold is not always used for monetary purposes or in jewellery, sometimes its “applications” are quite the oddity. A case in point: a $250,000 solid gold shirt created for a wealthy 32-year-old Indian man.
According to ABP TV (video below), Datta Phuge commissioned a team of 15 goldsmiths, who spent two weeks, working 16 hours a day, to make the shirt.
When asked about his motivations for having the shirt made, Phuge said he thought it would be exactly what he needed to attract female attention: “I know I am not the best looking man in the world but surely no woman could fail to be dazzled by this shirt?”
The top has matching cuffs and a set of rings crafted from leftover gold.
