VIDEO: India plans new trading hub for rough diamonds
India is the world’s biggest diamond processor and 80% of rough gemstone production is sent to the country for cutting and polishing.
With a strategy to create more jobs and boost exports, India intends to create a new trading hub for rough diamonds in direct competition with Dubai and Belgium.
