Integra gets excellent recoveries from DeLamar heap leach tests
Vancouver-based Integra Resources (CVE: ITR) says the latest results are excellent from heap leach tests on material from its DeLamar gold-silver project in Owyhee County, Idaho. The project includes the DeLamar and Florida Mountain deposits, both of which contain unoxidized as well as oxidized and transitional mineralization.
Oxidized and transitional material from both deposits was crushed and heap leached. Gold recoveries of between 65% and 80% and silver recoveries between 15% to 40% were achieved with material from DeLamar. Florida Mountain material had recoveries between 80% and 90% for gold and 20% to 50% for silver.
Unoxidized material from Florida Mountain was ground to 212 µm and run through a gravity circuit before flotation. Cyanide was added to the regrind slurry to achieve recoveries of 85% to 90% for gold and 65% to 80% for silver.
Integra said tests of unoxidized material from the DeLamar deposit are ongoing.
The DeLamar mine produced gold and silver from 1977 to 1992.
