AWU says OZ should embrace nuclear power because clean coal is too uncertain
AUSTRALIAN Workers Union (AWU) national secretary Paul Howes says that Australia should back nuclear energy because there is too much uncertainty surrounding clean coal.
The Rudd Government supports uranium mining but not nuclear power for Australia or local processing.
Howes says that Australia needs to lift its ban on a nuclear power industry and put aside ”superstitions of another age”. …more at Coal Mining
