bauma 2019 attracts 620,000 visitors
The bauma 2019 trade show has come and gone, attracting a record breaking 620,000 visitors from around the globe. They wore out their shoe leather going from one to another of the 3,700 exhibitors from 63 countries, the largest numbers ever. This was the biggest in bauma’s 65-year history.
With numbers such as that, bauma qualifies as the world’s leading trade far for mining and construction equipment.
More than 250,000 visitors came from countries outside Germany – including CMJ’s publisher Robert Seagraves. In terms of visitors’ homelands, the 10 top countries were Austria, Italy, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Russia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Poland and Great Britain. More than 5,000 visitors came from China alone.
The next bauma trade fair will be April 4-10, 2022.
