VANCOUVER, March 7, 2012 /CNW/ – Extorre Gold Mines Limited (AMEX: XG; TSX: XG; Frankfurt:E1R, “Extorre” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement pursuant to which Canaccord Genuity Corp. (the “Underwriter”), has offered to purchase, on a bought deal private placement basis, 3,530,000 common shares (the “Shares”) of the Company at a price of C$7.10 per Share for total gross proceeds of C$25,063,000 (the “Offering”).
In connection with this Offering the Underwriter will receive a cash commission of 5% of the gross proceeds raised.
The net proceeds from the Offering will be used for exploration and development of the Company’s mineral projects in Argentina and for general working capital purposes.
The securities issued with respect to the Offering will be subject to a four month hold period in accordance with applicable Canadian securities laws.
Closing of the Offering is expected to occur on or before March 15, 2012 and is subject to receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.
