Mining Association of British Columbia president and CEO Michael Goehring warns Canada risks losing mining capital unless governments move faster to deliver permitting certainty and clarity around the Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Act.
Speaking to MINING.COM’s Top of Mine, Goehring said British Columbia is in a “global race” for investment as countries including the United States, Australia and Saudi Arabia aggressively push to secure critical mineral supply chains and accelerate mine development.
