Another bonanza for Skeena at Eskay Creek

Skeena Resources continues to drill bonanza gold grades at its Eskay Creek project in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle. For the phase one program, two drills are testing the 21A, 21E and 22 zones.

Assays for only the 21A zone have been reported. Highlights include:

  • Hole SK-19-063: 312.81 g/t gold and 95 g/t silver (314.07 g/t gold equivalent) over 2.2 metres, Including: 1,380.00 g/t gold and 322 g/t silver (1,384.29 g/t AuEq) over 0.5 metre;
  • Hole SK-19-065: 3.34 g/t gold and 56 g/t silver (4.09 g/t AuEq) over 37.5 metres; and
  • Hole SK-19-006: 4.02 g/t gold and 79 g/t silver (5.07 g/t AuEq) over 30.5 metres, including: 68.40 g/t gold and 342 g/t silver (72.96 g/t AuEq) over 1.0 metre.

Skeena is earning a 100% interest in the Eskay Creek property from Barrick Gold. The former mine on the property produced 3.3 million oz. of gold and 160 million oz. of silver while it was active in from 1995 until 2008, when it was placed under care and maintenance.

Skeena also owns the nearby former Snip gold mine.
