Coal, water shortage reduces power supply to Delhi
Coal and water shortage in various power plants reduced the power supply to Delhi by up to 900 MW today. Throughout the day, power supply to Delhi kept on fluctuating reducing by as much as 900 MW for certain periods said power distribution firm BSES in a statement.
With shortage of coal and water in various power plants affecting generation, Delhi power distribution firms resorted to load shedding, affecting power supply to the capital.
