Mariana Resources intersects more silver and gold veins at Las Calandrias Project, Argentina
Canadian explorer Mariana Resources (LON:MARL, TSX:MRY) said the latest set of drilling results from the Calandria Sur deposit in Argentina were “good” with 13 of 21 holes returning “significant intersections” of gold and silver.
The mineralization ranged in style from narrow, high grade to what are described as “wide zones of strongly anomalous gold.”
Chairman John Horsburgh confirmed that follow-up exploration was underway in the extensive Bozal/Tongoril areas to the north and northwest, with new targets emerging, and said the company would update investors in due course.
