Couple forge their own wedding rings
A future husband and wife cut out the middle man and made their own wedding rings.
Reddit users c00lwhip says he documented his friend with his soon to be wife forging the rings. Location or materials weren’t reported.
Maybe the post is spurring others, which is trending on the social media site. The post already has 69,000 views.
The rings are utilitarian, but the couple saved. The mark up at a jewellry store above the raw material cost for the gold and diamonds can be high, anywhere between 300% to 1,000%.
