US copper futures rally to record high
U.S. copper futures rallied 0.8 percent on the first day of trade of the New Year to a record 448.30 cent/lb ($9,883 a tonne), extending 2010’s 33 percent gains on expectations of sustainable growth in top metal consumer China.
