Chile ready to sign lithium operation contract for Maricunga salt flat

Chile’s mining minister Aurora Williams said on Tuesday that she is ready to sign an lithium operation contract for the country’s Maricunga salt flat.
The Maricunga lithium project is managed by Chile’s state-owned copper producer Codelco and its partner Rio Tinto.
