China and Kazakhstan should expand energy and mineral cooperation and “accelerate the implementation of key projects”, Chinese President Xi Jinping said during talks with Kazakhstan’s president in Shanghai on Thursday, state-run Xinhua news agency said.
Xi also called for the two countries to optimize trade and open up more direct flights, according to the official Chinese summary of the meeting, which took place on the sidelines the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC).
