Forbes coal workers march In protest over wages, miner deaths
Forbes & Manhattan Coal workers on strike were expected to march to the company’s offices today in protest of low wages and the recent death of two fellow miners.
National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) KwaZulu-Natal provincial secretary Bongani Manyoni said, “We will continue expressing our concerns until our demands are met.”
The company said that its Dundee operations remain suspended.
