Russia’s Norilsk Nickel (Nornickel), the world’s largest palladium producer and a major global nickel producer, has launched additional measures to protect employees amid the coronavirus pandemic, it said on Wednesday.
The current shift of its employees at its Bystrinsky mine in Russia has been extended for 45 days until April 30 among other measures being taken, Nornickel said, adding that its operations in general are functioning normally.
