Pilbara Minerals says spodumene in tight supply as enquiries rise
Australia lithium miner Pilbara Minerals said on Wednesday that lithium concentrate spodumene was in “relatively short supply” as enquiries for the raw material used in electric vehicle batteries rise.
“It is the case that spodumene is in relatively short supply,” said Chief Executive Ken Brinsden on an analyst call.
“We are getting a lot of enquiries as it relates to additional product and we are doing our best from a production point of view to make sure that we can…meet the market.”
