Russia’s MMK says 2019 output volumes will remain flat
Russian steelmaker MMK expects steel output to remain broadly unchanged this year, the company’s chief financial officer Andrey Eremin said on a conference call on Thursday.
He added that the company sees no reason to change its existing policy with respect to its fourth-quarter dividend recommendation, which he said the company’s board of directors is due to announce tomorrow.
Speaking about forecasts for the company’s Turkish asset, MMK Metalurji, Eremin said MMK expects healthy output volumes, and that the asset will not remain loss-making in 2019.
