In what is proving to be a watershed year, the team at TFI Earthmover is continuing to make great inroads in their quest to secure market share in Australia’s ultra competitive mining industry with their primary brand, BKT Tyres.

“About six months ago we started to run BKT’s on our fleet of 40 and 50 Tonne Dump Trucks and we have been really impressed with the results,” said Pat. “While it’s still early days, all indications are suggesting that they will rival the Tier 1 product that they replaced when it comes to wear rates, puncture resistance and performance.”

“Of course the attraction is that BKT tyres deliver cost savings and when you stack them up against the price of the Tier 1 stuff that’s on the market at the moment, it’s easy to see why they are becoming more and more popular in the mining and earthmoving industry,” he added.
