Vale Indonesia awards Petrosea $1 billion contract for nickel ore mining

Indonesian miner Vale Indonesia said it had awarded Petrosea a $1 billion contract to mine for nickel ore in the Central Sulawesi region of Bahodopi, according to a company disclosure form.
The contract will be signed in March and is effective for 10 years, Vale said on Wednesday.
