Valterra Platinum profit nearly doubles on higher metal prices

South Africa’s Valterra Platinum on Wednesday said its annual profit nearly doubled in 2025, driven by higher platinum prices and operational cost reductions.

Valterra’s headline earnings per share came in at 63.48 rand ($3.99) in the year ended December 2025, up from 32.05 rand the previous year.
