Technical Support for Mining Equipment through new Remote Access Facility

As reported on AJM (Australian Journal of Mining), mining equipment manufacturer Joy Global has opened a remote access facility within its office at Wollongong University’s “Innovation Campus”. The facility enables the company’s engineers to provide technical support for equipment remotely.
“At the Innovation Campus we have a beautiful, modern office for our team,” Neilson [Joy Global Australia’s vice president of hard rock mining systems, Brad Neilson] said.[The office’s] accessibility means we can easily demonstrate the benefits of having remote access to mine equipment to our customers, and we are in an excellent position to attract [University] graduates.”
