Wife of coal magnate being considered for Canadian ambassador: report

Bloomberg reports that President Donald Trump is leaning towards tapping Kelly Knight Craft to become US ambassador in Canada.
The appointment is not final. Others candidates are being considered.
Kelly Craft is a Republican fundraiser and wife of Bob Craft, who runs eastern coal producer Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. The company is the second-largest eastern U.S. coal producer and operates ten underground mining complexes in five states: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and West Virginia.
According to Federal Election Commission filings, Kelly Craft and her husband donated $431,000 to Trump’s presidential campaign.
